Manduka pro yoga mat 6mm, experience of my first order...
The "Manduka" recommended my friend as the best mat.
I found a mat that interests me on the website in two categories:
1. YOGA MATS --> PRO SERIES --> PRO - 6MM,
2. SALE --> MATS
and I decided why pay the regular price when I can buy the same mat with a discount, but then everything went wrong...
Ok, I ordered a mat as a gift for my wife. from the "SALE" category without expecting that such a level the manufacturer can use tricky tricks.
I was waiting 7 days when my order was delivered to me ( good time for delivery for EU countries).
I was very very surprised when I unpacked this mat, it was with with big defect ( the hole in mat was 1cm approx).
Ofcourse I asked the support what I should do with this defective mat, and answer from support was very strange, literally what they answered me:
There was no picture attached in the e-mail so I can’t say with certainty if your mat is defective, but I can see that you have purchased an Almost Perfect .
Whaaat??? What is it "ALMOST PERFECT?
Correspondence took me a lot of time to find out that defective products are being sold in the "Sale" category:
1. 77.00 EUR,
2. I was pay additional fee for return label 5.99 EUR,
Total I payed for defective mat: 82.99 EUR.
Ok, I requested a full refund, and I made an new order and pay now 110.00 EUR
The difference with products from "Sale" category "Almost perfect" only 27.01 EUR
1. I spent my golden time, figuring out the reason why I got a defective mat.
2. I spent time sending it back
3. I spent 5.99 EUR and time sending back this defective mat
4. I spent time on a new order
5. And one more piece of mate slips like an ice cat during each workout.
I did not expect such negative communication from support "Manduka", the "Sale" category should be called "Mats with defects", and not marketing tricks that the "ALMOST PERFECT" goods are sold in the "Sale" category, I attached a photo what kind of product is for such money under the name "ALMOST PERFECT" !
Communication with Manduka left me with negative experience. I do not recommend this company as a responsible company; their level does not correspond to reviews and recommendations.
I hear only words from support we are very sorry, sorry, no any compensation for my first order and my lost time!!
I wanted to make another order for a good amount on Manduka website, but I changed my mind and made an order with another manufacturer who did everything professionally and quickly and without such problems!
